Every day we are surrounded by greediness. For example, once we leave home and head to work, we are ripped off by high fuel price regardless you drive or take bus. At workplace, our employers want us work longer and request less salary. At home, we are buried by big power bills, water bills, etc.
One of the most bizarre bills in our lives is our local council charge. The charge is so absurd that it is increasing at the rate of 4% to 10% annually. The reason for the increase is our land value! Council evaluates our land value very year, we have no idea how they do it. For example our land value was 350k in 2010 and in 2013 it becomes 400k. Bingo, your council fee will be raised! Now the question will be: do we earn money from land value increase? Answer is NO. Do we have other income apart from our job? Answer is NO too. But why does our council increase the charge? It is greediness! Council, in name of the government, rips us off.
